The inspiring Debby Lee returns for our February meeting to catch us up with what she’s working on. Since she last visited she’s released her Butterfly series, both as short stories and as an anthology. She’s also recently released a Depression era short story called Harvest of Hope:
Here’s what the story’s about:
After putting away a crooked bootlegger Meggie Preston, and her husband Luke, are on the road searching for a second chance at life when they happen upon the town of Hickory Creek. Meggie soon finds out they can’t run from their troubled past. Will she find the courage to face the issues that have driven a wedge between her and Luke, or lose everything?
